Day 31: Chewing the washcloth

Kennedy has found that chewing a cold washcloth is the best way to sooth sore gums and also easy to hold. This worked for all kids (ya know one of those wonderful ideas my Mom shared with me)!!! Kennedy loves...I mean LOVES it! She sat in her high chair chewing her washcloth for 20 mins while I helped Noah and Syd with their homework.

Day 30: Binky and Blanky

Kennedy has to have her binky and blanky when she's crabby and when she's tired. You always know when she's tired if she rubs her face with her blanket.

Day 29: Mimi Lovin'

Mimi, Pappy, and Grandpappy came down to visit today. We had a delicious lunch and a good time playing UNO.  Kennedy loves to sleep on her Mimi and today was no exception.  Cuddle time with Mimi and play time with the Pappys!  It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon!

Day 28: The Hat from My BF

My BF got me this hat at Christmas and I'm calling him to tell him that it matches my outfit perfectly. Kennedy is the cutest mouse ever!! Thank you Eli (and His Mommy too)

Day 27: Upside Down!

Yep!! She's even sweet upside down!! Look at her beautiful eyes...I could stare at her all day long!! Shane and I spend much of our Friday nights cuddling on the couch with the kids and thank God for our beautiful blessings.

Day 26: Mommys Little Piggy!

Kennedy has snorted since birth! It's in her blood. Shane and I met in a pig barn... What can I say??! I've called her my little piggy (A Christmas Story) for those reasons. Now, to add she began a couple weeks ago to eating like a piggy. Tonight I finally caught the face!! She's hilarious and quite the HAM!!! Haha

Day 25: Bath Babe

Every night it's routine for bath. Kennedy whines after dinner for her bath and after bath she gets dressed on our bed and while I go downstairs for a cup of ice water, Sydney brushes her hair over and over. Kennedy loves it and has grown to expect it. I couldn't ask for a better end to my day!

Day 24: Nosey Rosey face

Kennedy has a nosey rosey face...the face she makes when she hears something or sees something she has to look at. This is her, what we call, Nosey Rosey :)

Day 23: Alfalfa

Nicole and I bathed Kennedy tonight and when I left to get a towel I came back to Kennedy looking like Alfalfa. Nicole fixed her hair and she looked adorable! :)

Day 22: Sleeping Beauty

This is what a real Sleeping Beauty looks like!  Its been a crazy day of cleaning up bedrooms, laundry (till the washer died), and dishes that I almost forgot to take a picture. I ran upstairs to take one of Kennedy sleeping away.  I'm kinda glad that I almost forgot because I love LOVE pictures of babies sleeping!  They are so peaceful and sweet!  Kennedy had a rough day today playing, jumping, being entertained by her brother and sister, and an episode of Spongebob. She isn't feeling very well. Another cold has found its home in my baby :(  She is stuffy, has pink cheeks and is fussy.  I think the teething for her top teeth has begun.  But she gets to sleep in tomorrow with Mommy and Daddy since there is a 2-hour delay! I hope that helps a little.  

Day 21: Basket Fun!

While I was doing laundry, Kennedy got to go for a ride in the laundry basket.  The kids had fun pushing her around.  She wasn't sure what to think about it but she never complained. She did love sitting in it and playing. :)

Day 20: Cheerios...

Kennedy is getting to be such a big girl. She has been working  on eating Cheerios.  You can see the concentration on her face to pick up that Cheerio and get it in her mouth.  Most of them are ending up on her lap, but she is getting better!  I'd say she can get about 5 out of 20 in her mouth now! HA!  

Day 19: Long Day

We both had parent/teacher conferences tonight and Daddy had a game too!! It was a long day without you. I felt like my heart was breaking when I had to leave you AGAIN at 5:30 :( you stayed with Miss LeeAnn and were happy but I wanted to cuddle! Your are a sweety and I love you to pieces!!

Day 18: Entertaining herself

We never thought we'd see the day where Kennedy would be able to entertain herself and just be content but around a week before her 6 month bday she started. Now she just patiently waits when we go out, in the car, and at home!

Day 17: Im sexy and I know it

Kennedy is one little hottie :) Here she is getting ready to go get her bath for the night. Little Stinkpot spit her food all over her sitter today and me tonight! Someone does NOT like peas!

Day 16: Sitting pretty

Kennedy has been sitting since about 4 1/2 months.  This is when she started to entertain herself and see the world as it is.  Since sitting, she has learned to play with her brother and sister, be a Nosy Rosy, and learn new things by playing.  So here she is sitting pretty tonight at 6 1/2 months old.  The second picture she is getting sassy. I couldn't keep that one out!  She is just too cute with that scrunched up face!

Day 15: Playtime with Syd

        Today Sydney found a new game to play with Kennedy.  She laid Kennedy on the floor and stood above her. She would drop the blanket over Kennedy and lift up. Kennedy would laugh hysterically!  She kept repeating it and repeating it. Kennedy thought this was the best game ever!  Sydney is such a great big sister.  It's really getting fun to watch them grow together and start to "play" :)

Day 14:Princess Kennedy

Today Kennedy woke up from her nap while I was in the tub. I didn't hear her until I got dressed and came out into the hall. All I heard was Noah in Kennedy's room. I walked in to find him on the floor reading her a book. She was wearing a crown and watching the story. It was the cutest thing ever!

Day 13: I am a monkey!

My Aunt Heather and Uncle Matt got Kennedy this adorable sock monkey outfit. It's comfy and is perfect for her because she is a silly monkey!! I have better pics of her on my good camera but I'm still feeling under the weather so I'll post one of those on here tomorrow and update.

Day 12: Bathing Beauty

Kennedy loves her nightly baths. She likes to play with this little Elmo toy that was given to Sydney by Mimi. We put it under the water, let it fly up, and say PLOOP! And she laughs so hard! She is just like her brother and sister who LOVE baths too!

Day 11: Sweet Girl

Our sweet girl.  This is the smile that Aunt Nicole put on her face tonight.  I love coming home to that smile. That sweet face.

Day 10: Jump, Jump

Kennedy loves her Jumperoo!  My friend, Amy gave us this Jumperoo before she moved.  Kennedy has been in love since she has figured out how to jump.  When we want to smile, we just watch Kennedy jump.  It's hilarious how she jumps up and down, up and down. Always in the same spot.

Day 9: Messy Eater

Kennedy is the messiest eater ever!! It doesn't matter if she likes it or doesn't, it gets all over her! Tonight was Mac & Cheese with veggies and prunes. Yummy!!

Day 8: My teethers

At almost 5 months old Kennedy popped  in not one, but BOTH front bottom at once.  They are so pearly white!   Boy, did Miss K drool and fuss!  Tylenol and baby orajel barely touched the pain.  She preferred cold washcloths to suck on and her vibrating grapes.   She is currently working on what we think are her top front teeth but we will see if she will do her "vampire" teeth like Noah did first :)

Day 7: Eat my feet...

One of Kennedy's favorite activities is eating her feet and sucking her toes.  In the womb she was caught on video with her feet in her face and her face pushed into the placenta.  Now at 6 months old, she loves to rub her blanky on her face to fall asleep and still has those feet in her face.  Lets hope she grows out of the feet in her face ;)  Neither her brother nor her sister were able to put their feet in their mouths as they were too chubby!

Day 6: Big Brother

My big brother is amazing!

 The look in Kennedy's eyes in these pictures just brings tears of pride to my eyes.  From day one Kennedy has just adored Noah.  He is always protecting her and looking out for her.  He is so loving and caring for his little sister.  He'll say, "When I'm 16, Kennedy will be my age."  He reads her stories and he teaches her the colors.  He loves playing peek a boo with her.  Some days I wouldn't be able to shower without his help.  He is the best big brother any little girl could ask for.  

Day 5: 6 months old

Today Kennedy is 6 months old! I can't believe how fast it has gone already It's just like the song, Don't Blink. Every day flies by so quickly.
Tonight we had a quick bath in the sink. She loves being in the sink and splashing the water!

Day 4: Siblings

Kennedy looks up to her brother and sister so much.  Everything they do and say is constantly being watched, studied and analyzed.  The look in her eyes and the smile on her face when she sees them come into the room just melt this Mommy's heart.  I love how she recognizes them now and communicates with each of them differently.  I couldn't have hand-picked two better siblings for Kennedy. I just hope she agrees later ;) Noah is the protector and Sydney is the little Mommy.  God has blessed me with three beautiful, unique children.

Day 3: Mommy back to work

Today I went back to work and I went to my new sitter.  

It was a better day for both of us than we anticipated.  Kennedy is still her sweet, loving, playful self.

Day 2: Favorite Food

Kennedy hasn't enjoyed baby food quite yet. She started off doing well but after a couple colds she refused to open her mouth for anything but milk. However, she has one favorite food (besides whatever Mommy and Daddy are eating) and that's Apple Butternut Squash!

Day 1 of 365

Happy New Year!  Today, my baby girl is only 4 days away from being 6 months old.  Everyday she grows and changes more and more.  This is a way to follow those changes and to be able to look back at how quickly time goes.
