Day 118: Technology Savvy

Kennedy has already learned how to use the IPhone. She takes her finger and swipe it across the screen and smiles. She even has her favorite apps..fisher price!! :) they are never too young to start!

Day 117: NahNah

Miss K loves her "NahNah" which we believe is Noah. Tonight she was playing with him on the floor. She giggles and giggles with him. She was telling me about the "BuhBuh" or baby in these pictures. She's such a hoot!

Day 116: Stealing her BF's toys

Tonight at soccer Miss K kept stealing her little boyfriend's toys and blankey. She would take them and throw them on the ground and say ut oh... She loves playing games and being silly!

Day 115: Loves Wings...

The last couple months of my pregnancy with Kennedy I craved two major things...BWW sweet BBQ wings and Rita's Italian Ice (Gelatis).  I love how Kennedy now loves sweet BBQ wings :)  Look at that BBQ face!

Day 114: Shots

Kennedy had to get shots tonight.  It's always terrible to watch them go through getting shots, but I know in the long run it is worth it.  She was one tough cookie though!  She was fine right after as soon as she got her binky :)

Day 113: Still talking....

I forgot to add these pictures in for Sunday.  Noah was showing her YouTube videos and she was loving it! She just looks at him with amazement!

Miss K has really been busting out the words and sounds this last couple weeks.  As she is only 9 months old, I am impressed with how much she talks and eats!  She is growing up so fast! She has added Turtle to her list of words today.  Listen carefully....once again ignore my annoying voice....focus on the baby :)

Day 112: Cheering my Brother and Sister on

Saturdays are now devoted to soccer games.  Both Noah and Sydney are playing this spring so games will take up most of our Saturdays until June.   With all the running we do from dance to soccer, to here and there, Kennedy is amazing.  She loves to go out and about in the car and in stores, and wherever.   This was her adorable outfit on the way to the soccer games, until she spit up her cookie all over it on the way!  At least I got a cute picture first :)

Day 111: Talkative Teether

This little girl is teething...can you tell by the cheeks?  She is wiped out after a day of fun at Miss LeeAnn's house and an evening of playing with her brother and sister.  She was talking up a storm tonight.  When reading her favorite book (Farm Animals), she started mooing like the cow.  I love how she tucks her lips in 

and mooooos. :)

  

Day 110: Playing Vroom Vroom

Please ignore my annoying voice as you listen and watch Kennedy play Vroom Vroom with her car.  She amazes me as she learns so much everyday! She learns from "Monkey See, Monkey Do" but will just grab the car on her own and say vroom vroom.  She is such a smart, amazing little girl.

Day 109: Bath Time

One of things that makes Kennedy's evening is her bath.  Now that she sits so well and loves to play with her bath toys, bath time gets easier and easier.  She flaps her arms and kicks her feet when she hears the water running and gets so excited!  She anticipates a bath every time I walk her into our bathroom. In these pictures, she was working on her washcloth because her top gums are swollen.  Those teeth are working hard to break through!  And look at those eyelashes!!

 Her current favorite in the tub is playing with the toys that my mom got Sydney when she was this age.  They are Elmo, Bert  and Ernie toys and the Little People that we started purchasing when Noah was a baby.  (They are the "old" Little People toys that were popular when we were kids).  She just LOVES them!

Day 108: Playing with my Sister

Kennedy loves being entertained by her big sister.  When Kennedy is jumping, Sydney loves to get underneath her and scare her.  Kennedy laughs so hard at her and all the funny faces and noises she makes.  I pray that they will always love each other this much :)

Day 107: Her Sister's Clothes

One good thing about having another girl is all the cute clothes that Sydney once wore, Kennedy can too!  I know as they get older, hand-me-downs won't be in style as they are 5 years apart, but at this young age, the clothes save me a lot of money and my favorites can be worn through both girls.  This onesie was one of my favorites on Sydney.  It says that she is available.    Totally cute! :)

Day 106: Relaxing on the deck

Miss K and I relaxed on the deck this evening while the kids played in the yard. It was beautiful outside. A great evening to end spring break. Tomorrow Miss K goes back to Miss Leelees and we all go back to school. *she also started pointing to things and "talking" about them this week. She's growing so quickly!

Day 105: Pretty girl with a blanky

So we headed out today to Lowes, Target, and the Colonial Farms Nursery and I put a headband on Kennedy so just maybe she wouldn't be mistaken as a boy again!! I had to distract her as I put it on because she kept trying to rip it off, as usual... As we traveled down the road she grabbed her blanky and started rubbing it on her face. This is something she has done for months when she's tired and trying to fall asleep. I was so glad to catch her doing it. She's such a sweet pea :) and the headband thing lasted about an hour. That's a record!!

Day 104: First Zoo Trip

Today we went with friends to the DC zoo. Kennedy is at such a great age! She was so excited when she saw the lions!! She kept saying Cat cat! Daddy got it on video! Her legs were kicking and her arms were flapping. Her eyes were wide open. Then Daddy took her rinsed the orangatans (who is knows if that's spelled right ha!). A huge one was sitting near the glass so Shane put Kennedy down close to his face about 2-3 inches from him. He moved and looked right at her. She grabbed
daddy and cried!! He scared the daylights out of her. Her favorites were the lions and elephant! She was such a good baby all day! Here is a pic of her watching the elephant.

Day 103: Cutie Pie

Kennedy's hair is finally starting to grow! She can wear a barette now! But don't try putting girly flowery headbands in her hair cuz she will pull them right off!! It's just not her type...ha!

Day 102: Sibling Love

Today we got the house back together and played :)  I tried my best to get a group photo of the kids, but with Kennedy moving, she didn't want to sit still very long!  So, here's what I got! :)

Day 101: Helping Mommy and Daddy

It's our spring break this week and we have decided to do some home improvement and spring cleaning.  Kennedy has been quite the trooper!  She has been pretty much been entertained by Noah and Sydney.  She loves getting into everything, including the paint supplies...good thing it was only the tape!

Day 100: Sleepy baby

It's been a long few days and it's catching up to this on-the-go baby! She zonked out in the van and it was the sweetest thing :)

Day 99: Easter Sunday

This was Kennedy's first Easter.  She was crawling everywhere and loved playing with the Easter eggs!  As always, it was an amazing day with the kids.  Watching her grow and become a huge part of this family makes me complete.

Day 98: Family

Today we celebrated with our family for Noah's birthday.  We had our family down from PA for picnic food, a egg hunt with the kids, and cake for Noah.  It was a wonderful day.  It really makes you realize how blessed you are when you see your family all come together.  Kennedy practiced eating a cupcake for her 1st birthday. I think she did a pretty good job at it.

Day 97: Beautiful Spring Day

This evening Sydney, Kennedy and I went outside and played on the swings and playground.  It was a great chance to snap some pictures of my beautiful girls.

Day 96: 9 Months Old

Miss K has turned 9 months old.  I can't even believe it!  She has gone from a colicy, fussy baby to the happiest girl on earth (well...except when she is sick...)  She is crawling everywhere, pulling herself up to the couch, walking along the back of the couch, eating everything in sight and saying num num num as she eats.  This little girl is such a blessing.

Day 95: Easter Bunny

We took the kiddos to the mall tonight to see the Easter bunny and get pictures. Kennedy took one look at the bunny and said, "Dog Dog!!!" She was so excited when she saw him until...we went to sit on the Bunny's lap. She looked at him and screamed. And she wouldn't take her eyes off of him. We were finally able to get one decent picture of the three of them right before she screamed again. She was happy to say and wave Bye-bye to him!

Day 94: Noahs 9th birthday

Today was Noah's 9th birthday! The kids enjoyed the evening by playing outside with their friends and then we took a trip to Bob Evans for dinner, Noah's choice. Miss K and I enjoyed the sunshine on the deck while the kids played.

Day 93: Exploring

Now that Miss K is moving, she's getting into everything and exploring a whole new world! Tonight at Sydney's dance class, it was my purse. Oh what interesting stuff...some that as a teenager I'd be embarassed to show!

Day 92: Teething

Baby girl is teething big time...swollen gums and chewing her spoon. She's such a pumpkin! And note the adorable barette in her hair :) She leaves those in.
