Day 211: Loving books

Kennedy just LOVES books. It's to the point it is an obsession! She is only happy when she is sitting and reading, flipping pages, looking at the pictures, and looking under flaps.  Her favorites are the ones she interacts with (noises, flaps, slides, etc.).  She usually chooses the books that Aunt Heather and Uncle Matt got Noah years ago.  I can't complain because I love to read too.

Day 210: Fun at a Friend's House

We went to visit our friend, Tiffany tonight at her house.  The kids had a blast playing and Kennedy enjoyed the swing and meeting a big ol' lizard! :)

Day 209: Swimming in the Dog Dish

Miss K can't keep her fingers out of the dog dish! She loves to play in the water and make a big mess.  Nicole tried to put the goggles on her head as she played but she would have nothing to do with it!  But we got a good laugh out of it! :)  

Day 208: Good Eater

Kennedy continues to be our good little eater. She eats pretty much anything but prefers REAL food :)  Tonight she had fish, corn, and brown rice.  YUMMY :)

Day 207: In the Garbage Can

While switching laundry, someone decided to get into the trash can and play with the garbage...was it Elliott?  No........was it a raccoon?  No..... Yep, you guessed it. Miss K!  She decided to help herself to the trash.  She took out the sweet tea jug and was carrying it around trying to drink out of it.  Oh this kid....

Day 206: Goodnight Moon

This was Noah's favorite book and I busted Kennedy reading it in the kitchen tonight.  She was looking for the mouse :)  They are so much alike sometimes.  The love for books as really sparked lately....

Day 205: More Puppy Kisses...

Kennedy was attacked tonight but the cutest little Pug ever...Pedro kept trying to drink her bottle and then he'd give her kisses.  She was just loving every moment of it!  There really is nothing cuter on this planet than babies and puppies :)

Day 204: Riding her bike

Kennedy's Uncle Mikey and Aunt Ashley and Adrian got her a battery operated bike for her birthday.  She has been riding it everywhere! I finally got a video of her outside having a good time.  For some reason she refuses to keep her feet up, but she has her own way of doing things these days :)

Day 203: Visiting and Fun

Today was a fun day with friends.  We headed to the river and to a deer farm.  The kids had such a great time with their friends and Kennedy was fascinated by everything we did.

 Yep! She's dancing with the girls! :)

Day 202: Trip to PA

We took a trip up north to visit with our college friends.  It was a long drive, as it seemed we needed to stop more than we did on the way to Myrtle Beach.   It was more Daddy's excuses to stop than the kids! He needed this and that, run an errand here and there, but when we finally made it, Kennedy made herself right at home.  She really seemed to remember them since the last visit and was very comfortable.

Day 201: Puddle Fun

As  we were waiting on a friend to stop by, Kennedy joined me in the garage to watch the rain fall.  She loves getting into things out there, but today she saw the rain falling down.  So, off she went into the puddles. She kept pointing to the raindrops and was fascinated.  She learned how to splash her feet in the water!  It was so fun watching her :)

Day 200: Giggle Giggle

The way Kennedy has always scrunched up her face when she smiles and giggles has always brought attention.  She seriously (of course I am bias) is the cutest baby ever :)

Day 199: Chicken Noodle Soup

Kennedy loves her chicken noodle soup.  I used to lightly chop it when she was 7 months old, but now that she is such a big girl and wants to eat everything on her own, she just picks up the noodles and slurps them up!

Day 198: Dance Time!

No matter where we are, what we are doing, or what kind of music it is, when Kennedy hears it, she drops to her bottom and starts spinning on her bottom (Her version of "dancing").  It just cracks us up!

Day 197: Sisters

This morning both girls were cuddling in bed with me.  I pray that they always remain this close.  They just love each other and Kennedy already looks up to her.

Day 196: Walking in Shoes

Today we tried walking in shoes now that she has perfected her steps.  She did pretty good for the most part.  The girl has the biggest feet, so carrying those big old shoes is quite the job.  She loved being a big girl and wearing them.

 

Day 195: Sleeping girl

I caught Kennedy sleeping this morning and she must have been having a really good dream. I got a quick picture of her smiling in her sleep, but couldn't catch it again to get a better one.  She was adorable laying there as peaceful as can be!

Day 194: Bath-time

It has been awhile since I got a cute bath picture of Kennedy. She is adorable with her hair all slicked back :)  She just smells so good.  I'm going to miss these times so much as she grows.

Day 193: Daddy's babysitting

I have been in a training and Daddy has been (as he says) babysitting his own kids.  Noah spent time with his Grandma and Pap in PA and Daddy was in charge of the girls.  He took them out to eat and up to PA to visit with their cousins and pick Noah up.  While there, he got a good picture of the kids together.  Also here is a picture of them eating :)

Day 192: She's a blur!

I tried to get some pictures of her walking around. She is now walking everywhere carrying things from here to there.  Today it was her cold washcloth as we are teething again.  She can now stop, bend over, pick something up and continue walking! We are so proud of our new "toddler"!!  The pictures are blurry because she was walking so fast and wouldn't stop for Mommy to take a picture.

Day 191: She's wild!

She's walking! She's crawling! She's everywhere! She's wild! I can't keep up but frankly that is okay because she has been so happy being a mobile toddler.  :)

Day 190: Wrinkle Nose

Kennedy makes the cutest faces.  One of our favorites is when she wrinkles her nose up.  It is so hard to catch her doing this, but I finally got it!!
